Sydney Sundgren, a junior at Buchanan High, secured second place in the girls varsity 1,600 meters in 5:04.88 and finished fourth in the varsity 800 in 2:23.16 at the Buchanan Distance Classic at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif.
