Sierra Cornett, a freshman at Buchanan High, placed second in the girls varsity 800 meters in 2:22.26 and finished fourth in the 1,600 in 5:08.44 at the Buchanan Distance Classic at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif.
