Junior Christopher Caudillo and senior Nathaniel Avila of Clovis High both placed in the top four of both the boys varsity 800 and 1,600 meters at the Buchanan Distance Classic at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Caudillo won the 1,600 in 4:12.57 and Avila finished fourth in 4:19.14. Caudillo was runner-up in the 800 in 1:58.02 and Avila took third in 1:59.32.
